New Version of Easy HTML to WP Plugin

A new version of Easy HTML to WP Plugin was just released – version1.3

This is an improved version, which includes a new template and more features that were requested by customers…

First, the Advanced template was improved… There was a problem: when used in combination with some themes, the Advanced template was not working properly, and a white space was added to the top of the page… The problem was generated by the way those themes were dealing with shortcodes. The problem is now fixed.

More good new about the Advanced template: THERE IS NO NEED TO PASTE THE SHORTCODE in the content area to parse your page – this is done automatically now. Please read the updated guide for details.

Second, a new template was added: SEO Enhanced Frame page. SEO Enhanced Frame Page exactly like the SEO Enhanced Iframe Page. When the plugin is used in combination with some other themes and/or plugins, you might get a double scroll bar on the iframe page, and that does not look nice… SEO Enhanced Frame Page is an alternative for the SEO Enhanced Iframe Page. IF and ONLY IF you get double scroll bars when using the iframe page, switch to the frame page.

Third, I have added another feature to the plugin – you can now add your Google analytics ID to track your pages, without using any other plugin. It works with all the templates of the plugin, except the Easy HTML to WP template – this does not have the required hook… Just add your code in the corresponding form that you can see in the sidebar metabox, below the templates switcher. Take a look:

Also, the Google analitycs ID can be added to ANY PAGE ON YOUR BLOG as long as that page has the wp_footer hook. IT DOES NOT WORK ON POSTS, ONLY ON PAGES.

How to upgrade your plugin:

  1. First BACK UP YOUR WORDPRESS DATABASE! We won’t take any responsibility for your data, you have to look after it yourself.
  2. Deactivate the existing version of the plugin.
  3. Delete the existing plugin. Don’t worry, your data will not be lost…
  4. Go to Plugins/Add New/Upload and upload the new version of the plugin.
  5. Reactivate the plugin.

Easy HTML to WordPress Page Plugin Just Got Better

I have just released the latest version of the Easy HTML to WordPress Page Plugin – version 1.2

This is an improved version, which includes a new template and more features that were requested by customers…

What’s new in version 1.2:

  • A new template was added – Advanced HTML to WordPress Page
  • You can use PHP code on your page
  • You can use SHORTCODES on your page
  • Of course, the User Guide was updated to reflect the latest changes

I have tested the new version using several plugins and several PHP codes, but there are a whole bunch of plugins out there and I cannot test them all…

That’s why I need you, Easy HTML to WordPress Page Plugin customers, to take the new version and start testing on your pages with your installed plugins…

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please do not use the plugin on your main blog, especially if you have a high traffic blog… Take the plugin and test it on your local server (wamp / xampp) if you have one, or on a test blog…
